A Florida Native and now based in St. Petersburg, Florida, Dylan’s interest in art and photography began in high school where he was President of the Lecanto School of Art student body. College led him towards his Associates of Science in Photographic Technology at Daytona State College, where he graduated with Honors. Dylan continued his education at the University of Central Florida and worked towards earning his Bachelors of Photography degree.
Since moving to St. Petersburg three years ago, Dylan has developed two distinct bodies of work. The first depicts rural Florida where he grew up. His travels to the same locations, namely in Citrus County, Florida allow Dylan to recognize the beautiful timelessness of the landscape that fills him with wonder; reminds him of childhood.
Dylan’s second most prominent body of work explores Ego. As a young gay male, the work depicts implied sexuality through the ‘Male Gaze,’ and aims to document the understanding of his role with regards to the interactions with others while interacting with himself.
